what art?

1) This is a more serious mood given off by the images. The models expressions are a kind of resting face and just relaxed. In first image the model has a pretty regular posture but the second model has a more slouched back posture.

2) I think the images could have been made either with oil paint or photoshop. I think it is more likely that it is an oil painting because there are different styles of painting used in different parts of each image.

3) I think the color plays a big role in both images. In the first image the background is a is a strong red that directly contrasts with the clothing she is wearing but it is also the same color as the charm on her necklace. In the second image the background creates good contrast to the model but is also the same color as her lips.

4) I think the artist wanted to convey a more serious or relaxed tone while trying to get the person viewing the art to think about the image. I think the artist was successful.

cubism cont.

The first step is to take photos of all the stationary things. Then take photos of the moving things.  Making sure that all of the photos are different then put them together in photoshop.
I think there are around 40 photos used in this composition.
These photos were not all taken at the same  time of day.
I think the only obvious use of photoshop in this composition is the pasting together of the photos.

Banana Boat (Space Project)d

Gottfried Helnwein image cont.

In the industrial part of Waterford, Ireland there is a large picture of a girl. The girl has a blank expression and a lean face but has these large green eyes. The image is of just her face and the actual thing is huge and takes up the entire side of this really big building. I can't really tell if the image is continuous or if its spliced.

The picture is in an industrial looking area. I think the intended audience are factory workers and laborers. The mood of this image is a little erie and a little mysterious. Her face to me is completely blank. it seems like she's showing zero expression.

I think the title "The Last Girl" suggests that she could be someone completely average and someone is referring to her as the last girl to someone else.

work by Gottfried Helnwein

I think the artistic image is show that most people just see the outside of the girl but I think the guy being small represents him trying to find a way in. I also think it represents how it is hard to really get to know this girl. It is defiantly photoshoped.
